The bridge it is exploding in my sight
A waterfall of hammers drowns my sighs
Black and white, you walk on up,
Heart of steel your boots tip-touch
Reach on out so you can clutch
The bleeding pink of the clouds in the sky.
[So won’t you cry my life tonight?
Won’t you let me live in your eyes?
The water’s coming up so fast
Don’t blink back your weeping past
Clear it out and make it last
And please cry out my life.]
The hammers have all gone home for the day
Bridge the gap, then walk away
Don’t leave me high up here alone
It’s a secret I’m afraid of showing
Take my hand and point me home
And I’ll be on my way, I’ll be on my way…
So go to sleep now, hammer baby, time to dream
Daddy’s going to build you so many things
You’ll balance on his bouncing knee
He’ll tell you all the things you’ll be
And one day all his life you’ll see
In the bridge, as it is falling.

I've never been a great fan of mixing hip hop music with electronic one till I've heard The Polish Ambassador. Wow !! This is amazing combination, so tasteful and pleasant to listen to. I went through few albums, but so far Pushing through The Pavement is my favorite. I would also add that pretty much every tune with vocal is awesome, mainly due to the fact that those tunes are beautiful and lyrics is very thoughtful. puszekk
